Infiniti today provided a virtual launch of the new 2011 Infiniti M at the 2009 59th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The redesigned third-generation model will be the first Infiniti M sedan to be sold in all of the brand’s 32 markets, including Western Europe. The 2011 M design is inspired by the Infiniti Essence concept, giving it a more elegant yet sporty stance. The model also features innovative technology such as blind spot intervention system, which alerts the driver if another vehicle is detected in an adjacent lane during lane changes. The 2011 Infiniti M will be available in a M37 and M56 designation, both powered by a V6 and V8 engine respectively. The M56 is expected to offer more than 400-hp. For Western Europe, the 2011 Infiniti M56 will be replaced by the V6 performance diesel. Despite performance increases, Nissan says that fuel-economy will be increased. The 2011 Infiniti M will go on sale across the world in spring 2010. Like it or hate it? Let us know in the comments section after the jump.
